Each of my kits contains one Auvi-Q, two Walgreens liquid Benadryl spoons, and two Benadryl tablets. But, you can actually fit two Auvi-Qs if you wanted. Other things you may want to include...
- tums travel rolls (I've seen them online but can't find them in stores-supposedly they're in the checkout line), which have [maybe] six tums
- Lactaid pills, if you're lactose intolerant rather than allergic to milk
- antiseptic wipes for cleaning contaminated surfaces
- an Auvi-Q pocket guide, or even the prescribing information guide that came with it, in case somebody unfamiliar with Auvi-Qs is using it on you
- a list of what you're allergic to, or even an Anaphylaxis Action Plan
- allergy alert cards for restaurants
- emergency contact info
If your family has multiple people using Auvi-Qs, you can use a specific color soapbox for each person, or put an identifying sticker on each one (faster than reading the name labels and easier for kids). You can also do this to specify the location the kit belongs if you pre-set them, which keeps you from forgetting them.
